Lack of employee engagement is the top issue for 87% of HR and business leaders, yet the majority of organisations are still failing to take action, according to new research from Deloitte.

The survey, conducted among more than 3,300 HR and business leaders across 106 countries and found those who cited engagement as being “very important” double from 26% last year to 50% this year. 60% of HR and business leaders surveyed said they do not have an adequate program to measure and improve engagement, indicating a lack of preparedness for addressing this issue.
